Just finished install on EC heat exchanger

So I just finished my install and I am currently seeing an 11 degree drop in iat just at idle. Can't wait to really test it out this weekend. Overall the install is straight forward and very easy. Very solid product and more than happy with my purchase. Hopefully I no longer have to worry about timing loss now.

Let's see a pic of it installed - get the Bosch 010 pump and you'll see even better AITs..awesome pump for these cars.

I did not install a pump with it but I had already done a cm30 and trunk tank previous to getting their heat exchanger.

Swap that Johnson for a Bosch - you'll see lower temps, consistently.

I purchased mine from Amazon for $106 shipped. I don't remember the seller's name, but he only had two more in stock when I placed my order a few months back - they're likely sold. It was the best price I could find at the time - the 010 is worth every penny and is without a doubt the best upgrade you can do to this platform, hands down.

I had a CM30 on my previous E55. I have no complaints, either. Many on the forum claim the CM30 fails after some time, but again, never had a problem when I had it before.

The pump was good when I had it and I saw lower temps (don't remember the exact numbers), but with the 010, the temps are even lower and much more consistent, even after multiple WOTs runs in the heart of the summer heat season.

I think something is up with my cm30 pump. Was seeing consistent 55-60 degree over ambient IATs. Supercharger wouldn't shut off, just really high intake temps (like 180). That's way too high for tune and smaller sc pulley only. Even if the coolant isn't split. I got the Bosch pump and will report back shortly.

How much did this run you if you don't mind my asking? My crappy stocker needs replaced, and I want aftermarket and will do 010 pump as well.
