I am debating whether to leave Friday night or Saturday really early and and stay Sat. night? I have a 6 hour drive...what time do we start on Sat.? Peeps coming a long distance...are you guys staying around Fri. or Sat. night?
Anyone have rooms yet and where? I will book now if I know where to book them.

Same here... In some of the previous events Ahmad and others texted me the results live and I was posting them, but it would be nice to actually see the runs as they happen or at least a few moments later

If they have 4G coverage or wifi at the track we could set up Skype or something, Skype has a feature that allows you to record. Someone could Skype you, you could record and then repost. Sounds like a PITA but it would work.
I am not volunteering, I will be focusing on making some record shattering passes but maybe you can find someone willing to do this.

hey guys. really interested in coming out to this event, but i have to be honest...i've never raced before at all. everyone's gotta start somewhere though right?
anything i should know about procedures and whatnot? do you think there'd be anyone there willing to walk me through everything. i don't want to make a newb mistake and **** everyone off.
i've only got a tune on my car so i'm obviously not going to break any records or anything. if this is a super serious event, i can gladly avoid it in order to let everyone else have as many runs as possible.

Bring cash and pay at the gate. Bring a helmet. If you have drag radials bring them too otherwise you have to run in the street tire lane.

I could easily host a live stream on our site if anyone is interested. I would just need someone at the event use their phone as the streaming device. (maybe set it at the front of the track on a tripod or something) I could walk you through how to do it, easy on your end. (install software, log in hit go)

As other have mentioned this would be the best event to attend. You will get in plenty of runs and there will be lots of guys there with lots of knowledge and more specifically lots of knowledge about your specific car. That type of knowledge is priceless and will drastically shorten your learning curve.

Any plans on BBQing? I can bring fresh clams or sausage if anyone is gonna cook? Let me know and I will bring a lot of either one or both! I have friends in each business...lobsters too but don't know who wants to fight with those things at a track! lol

Remember when we saw that ACR T-Bone a certain 335? Damn, brought back memories when I watched that video. Way different reasons for the crash, since Sal's has a powerglide I believe. The ACR had some driver input error with the manual, I believe.
