Gear Swap Complete, thanks Modern Horsepower Performance
I have finally put enough miles on the setup and run it through several different scenarios on the street, it works.
I sent them my TCU, it was flashed and back in my hands in a few days. The shifts are much quicker over stock, much quicker plus the best part of all, the 3.06 gear swap and TCU tune is now complete. They got it right the first time.
Put the tranny in Manual mode and grab the upshifts yourself, and you feel very connected to the car. It actually upshifts and down shifts when you tell it to now One thing I also noticed is that it holds the shifts a little longer in each gear when just cruising the surface streets in Sport mode. Go WOT and you can truly feel the torque management is no longer there
Anyone comtemplating a gear swap, MHP delivers, and that is the case for any sizing, 2.82; 3.06; 3.23; 3.55 etc.
There TCU tune is also for NON geared cars, as an FYI.

Nice mod Craig! So, you went with a shorter final drive?
Ive thought about it but dont want the car shifting into 4th gear unless its well before the 1/4 traps.... Now, if you're going for big top end like 1/2 mile air strip attacks. I think that sounds really interesting! Im sure it will help to be able to rev out 4th better.

I have two track days planned in November. If they weather breaks before then, I will go in October.
I have already been to the track with this setup the end of last year and ran a 10.98 but the car was far from dialed in. It was hitting rev limiter on the 1-2 shift and went into limp mode near the end of the run. That was also my first time out on 28" slicks, so I was learning the sweet spot for launching.
Here is the vid of that run, watch the front 20" wheels and nose of the car, how they are trying to get air time lol. That was a 1.62 60" ft only with 28" slicks and stalled the car to 2500rpms. I also did a 3000 stall the same time I did a gear as an FYI before that track day:

Andy from MHP defrauded me of $3000 in 2009 (for a ECU tune that was never delivered, blah, blah not his fault, it's the other guy, blah blah, the usual bull****) beware and use the search and read all the treads...
