Took her to the dyno today!

Took my E55 to a dynojet today, and not sure if I should be happy about my numbers.
Mods are:
-Kleemann headers
-EC smaller s/c pulley
-EC box tune
-K&N
-Larger h/e
-Cm30
-Catless
-Removed resonator
-3in exh to stock mufflers
-Step colder plugs

Numbers were 465hp and 497tq. What you guys think?

I have identical mods but also 80mm throttle body. I dynoed less than that with the box tune then after sending the dyno graph with air/fuel in I got a reflash that gained around 30whp. What did the air/fuel look like?

Awesome! Makes me feel better. IFR's weren't too good. Going to send the sheet to Jerry and see if he can adjust. You guys just made my day.

Mine was down at 10:1 and fixed to run at upper 11s air/fuel.

Numbers seem pretty low to me.. I dynoed 435 rwhp and 470 rwtq stock. I have added a smaller sc pulley and tune, but havent been back to the dyno yet. I would think you would be around 500 whp with your mods. Just my opinion though.

435/470 is a factory freak in my opinion. Most guys are seeing 390-410 give or take. Torque 440-460. Granted, every dyno is different, conditions etc.

OP will be right around 500rwhp with a dyno tune.

A box tune is not helping him and definitely holding back quite a bit of power. OP, I wouldn't be surprised if you gained 30-40rwhp/rwtq from a custom dyno tune with your setup.

Give EC a call!

That's why you can't compare dyno numbers from one to another. The only point of the dyno is to make a change and see what difference your car makes.

OP-
That's a lot of mods for only a box tune.

Kansas isn't too far from Houston, is it? Drive down to Houston and have Jerry custom tune that thing. You'll think it's an entirely different car, trust me.

I also dynoed 442/470 stock; well K&Ns, HE & 010 pump type of stock. As was already mentioned, though; dynos can vary.

Why drive to him? He can easily look at the air/fuel from a dyno graph and look at the rpms of the graph and adjust the fueling and after one reflash have the car way better. That is exactly what he did to mine, and I gained 30+ whp

Thank you all for your input in the matter. Like urbamworm said, I can email Jerry the dyno sheet and he should be able to adjust from that, which I already have, waiting on his reply. Kind od worries me tho, what if something else is wrong and im losing power? Might have to check my cyl compression's. We shall see what hallens after a retune.

I really don't think you should be concerned, did you get a baseline dyno before mods at that shop? If not you have no comparison data, you simply can't compare others dyno numbers. With a box tune there's a lot left on the table, do you have a graph of the AFR's from the dyno run?

Yeah your car is probably ready to explode....I'll give you $10K for it since I am such a nice guy and have inherited $50MM from someone in Africa ....

J/K, you are fine and as others have stated you are just running rich ....you will likely need to make a few more tune changes, but keep an eye on AFRs and IATs....

Jerry said they're good, so I guess they are. Idk the first of tuning.

When you say they stay under 11.8. do you mean they stay under and near 11.8? If so then you are fine. Go to a track and find out how much power it really makes.

They're between 11.4 and 11.7, nkt steady tho, they go up and down. But Jerry said yhey look good, so I guess they are.

I took her to the track a while back, with street tires it only ran a 12.4 at 120. Not too excited about that. Maybe I should get some radials or learn to drive her better.

AFR's sound good and trapping 120 sounds pretty close to being right. When you went to the track how were the temps and the humidity?

AFRs sound spot on and trap speed ~120 is solid too...

Ok cool. I believe it was in the 80's and no clue on humidity, it was a while back.

It sounds like it's performing how it should. Don't ever worry about dyno numbers, unless there from the same vehicle on the same dyno in the same conditions.

Yea, you're right. These numbers just mean I have to increase, so crank pulley, injectors and tb are next and throw on a belt wrap. Then we shall see.

If you are trapping 120mph @ 12.4,, then you are spinning like crazy and will need tires. You can run 11.5 with your mods in good weather easily.

That's what I've been told. I have Nitto 555's on and I have to leave traction on, if not, like you said, I'll spin like crazy. I am contemplating putting radials on. Im afraid of busting something on launch.
