I need a snowboard rack: any suggestions?
For a 2005 E55 AMG. Title says it all.

Your best bet to put a roof rack on your E55 would be to go out and buy an E320 or E350.

Just use the ski/board pass through, works great and very secure.
It is best to get the trunk liner for the melt from board & boots.

I need to carry 4 boards so pass thru is not an option. Im taking me, my boys and my boards to the alps in style. Need a rack.

Yacht Master, I always think of the sweet Rolex when I see your screen name. Ya anyways, our E55 don't have that pass through does it? Never checked

Max, some do, some don't, I have seen it added. And some W211 the entire seat back folds forward for some massive space for large objects.

OK, up on the roof then, I am sure you have seen the 4 little doors on the roof of your W211, those are the hard point mounts for the Mercedes Benz roof carriers (case, skis, boards, bikes). very secure.
