Yeah, this forum has a lot more members. That is a new forum that people moved to since the other forum was full of idiots and politics. So since there isn't a huge member base there is less day to day action there, it is still growing.
There are a handful of members there that know a lot about the engines though so that is good.

I would love for you to show anyone of us where we got upset about a challenge? You sound so ridiculous!
Keep on computer racing...like I said earlier...you're the fastest one of those here! You will always have that! Gucci, Fendi, Louis Vuitton...whatever your name is....ohhhhh it's Prada!

Did you have a lemon or something? What made it a piece of ****? They are pretty nice cars and pretty reliable too. I have logged many miles in mine now and have no complaints at all other than the Recaro seats upgrade option mine has are a little to hard.

On a side note, I'm signed up to participate in the Cadillac V-Series Lab at the Circuit of the Americas on October 11th. Pretty stoked about going.

The other guy that was saying that the V's are junk well...I don't know what type of crap he owned but I have heard nothing but good things about them and I have put a few more miles on mine already than I thought I would this early. Not a lot of miles, 1500 maybe, but the car is pretty cool. I said it when I first got it that is no benz but you sacrifice a few things for others and vice verse! Whatever, only his opinion.
I am not so sure that an 87 SL500 is any better!

I'm not saying they are all junk, I'm saying mine was.

They are a little hard but everyone on the V forum told me that when u wanna sell it....it is difficult without recaros! A little hard might be an understatement!

My 560 is as pristine an example as one could find. It looks and drives like it just rolled out of the factory. 27 years old and it is more solid than my V on day one.

Was your car an early 09 by any chance? I have no roof so I will never have to worry about any creaking...lol I had a 2004 V with NO roof either and when I was done with it I sold in 3 days online. Many guys do not want a roof in these cars. Obviously, yours was a lemon, sorry to hear.
I am a fan of the older benz cars so there was nothing bad meant by my statement. I have actually had a few of them but sold them pretty quickly to make a few bucks.

I heard a noise from roof area once when I bought the car and was driving home. It seemed like it was coming from the center divider of the two sunroofs (like pano roof in benz). I gave it a little jerk/shove seeing if that was it and haven't heard a noise from it since that I can recall.

Haha, I don't mean I need to lose weight, I am a smaller guy. I am just saying the car is so dang heavy it needs to lose weight!
