TPMS adapters or skip them?
Guys, I have a 07CLS550 but wasn't getting responses in our forum so wondering of anyone here has dealt with this. I will be installing HRE 441Rs in a few days and have a TPMS debate.
I thought I read that TPMS can be disabled via Star?
Should I buy the TPMS adapters from IForged and get it to work or skip them?

That would be too easy but unfortunately you have to mail your wheels to them to install. They would drill another hole.
My question is whether anyone would even go through the hassle of using them?

They have a strap kit you can buy if you do not have, or want to have the additional holes in the barrels of the wheels. I'll pull up an email w/ pic i have from Vince and post here for you.

I called yesterday. They dont sell the strap kit anymore and after internet searching I doubt I would want it. I think the Iforged adapter which mounts a bracket to the back of the valve stem is the way to go. Just wondered if I should skip them altogether.

Sorry, didn't see your post. They must have somewhat recently stopped selling the strap kits. Discount and Tirerack also sell the strap kits.
But i guess if it were me, i would try and keep the TPMS. I like the idea of knowing ahead of time of a tire is low on air, etc. But some think different. I suppose the easier method would be to just disable the TPMS in the system and be done with it though.

I've never used google drive, can you just make the pictures accessible to everyone or do we each really have to request access.
OT: F*** google, making me log in first...goddam tracking motherf***ers.
I have no use for TPMS. I've been driving for 30+ years and never had a problem with low tire pressure going unnoticed.
Do our TMPS have the inertia check or can you put them in a pressurized pvc pipe in the trunk?
