M5 V10 giving a CBR1000 hell on the open road.
Some people are saying the car is out of line getting on the bikes ***, and I agree. I also feel the bike is flying around other cars like a moron causing people to swerve and nearly causing accidents at times I'm sure so I don't think he can complain 1 word about anyone's stupid driving.
That said, check this out!

I was a lil shocked at how tight the suspension seemed. Guessing he clicked it over to the firmest setting though.

That's what Jerry's (Eurocharged) old E60 M5 sounded like when he let me pilot it at the Texas Mile. Sounded so bad ***....

Video is clearly some kind of fake.
A BMW driver used a turn signal to indicate a lane change.

Lol so that was M5's sound ? lol I kept thinking it was the bike
Also, what's up with the suspension? I test drove the M5 before getting the E55 and it was very harsh , stiff and stable compared to soft and comfy E in comfort setting. However, on the hwy this just seemed like once that M5 hits a bump he would lose all control ?
Also, the roads didn't have that much traffic (good for both) , I once had an encounter with a biker in my Prelude lol and he just went on the white lane and ripped it and he was gone.
No matter how powerful a car is we still need a lot of space to change lanes. If a gutsy biker comes along he doesn't need to wait for the cars to move and he can just go on the white lane and be gone.
Was this in States ?

I don't think he's serious.
On that video on youtube, there is a reply to the top comment and in response
"It's my car and I drive like I prefer" along those lines and it was posted 21 hours ago , now
unless there is wifi available in after life or someone else has posted the video pretending to
be the driver, the person is still alive.

Hearing the sound that V10 produces at full song makes me miss my E63 M6 ... wasn't that much fun in traffic, but it had a monster top end.
As for the transmission shifting harsh ... it sure does at 8200 rpm, especially in S6 mode ... feels like the differential is coming apart. But shift speed can be adjusted on the fly, as does the suspension. It's a combination of compression/rebound that makes it bouncy, but at top speed it's much easier to control the car ... at that speed, and I have some experience with top speed runs since I was born in Germany, I would get sweaty palms driving an E55 between the non feedback steering and the soft suspension

I just sold a Dinan E39 M5. Bah. They are old.
A 1000cc bike would eat that car. Period. A TT 997 tried to race me while I was on my 03 R1. We slowed to about 50. I left it in 6th, he downshifted to what I was assuming 2nd, and I gave him the hit. I put 10 lengths on him just about instantly. I only weigh 140 lbs, but still. No 500 hp car is going to hang with a 1000 unless its a 3 mile race.
The M5Board videos are the only ones that show true top speed races between these cars. Those V10s really do scream up top though.

Also that car would eat that bike alive on the right roads with a good driver. bikes don't take turns like a car can. I always love looking at the track times for stock cars and fast bikes at Laguna Seca. You have some very slow cars running as fast or even faster as most A and B class bikes. Its not like that track doesnt have some good fast straights either for the bikes to make up ground. They just turn that slow.
