i thought it was a W204 C Class?
I dont understand why they didnt set up spikes or roadblocks.

An innocent person got killed. It was so unfortunate.

BTW US27 is a favorite place for drag racers.......its a divided highway with controlled grade intersections. Its at the end of the everglades before you hit swamp. This pursuit started out in central dade county and wound up in central broward county. A distance of prob 26 miles on a road with prob 6 intesections.

Andrew, they were setting up spikes @ I75 & 27, this guy shot and killed his girl friend and her daughter then fled. Hit and killed the woman in the W211, so 3 innocent.

**** the police they failed. All intersections should have been shut down prior to that suv getting to them, they had more than ample time. There failure to do so got an innocent woman killed. I'd sue the city.

The bandit should of filed for a parade permit long before committing the crime so the department would of had time to cancel days off and assigned mandatory overtime. That way they could of planned to have sufficient staff to preposition them to get those intersections covered. With a parade permit they would of known the exact route to be traveled and so on.

The trouble is bandits fail to file those parade permits and the short staffed police agencies are left guessing where a crime might occur and which way they are going to flee and get preoccupied with other things like accident reports, dog barking complaints, and the occasional domestic dispute.

The crystal ball thing has been tried, but it just does not work like in the movies.

It is nice to know that you have all the answers. You should run for Sheriff and get all this straightened right out with 1% of the budget you need to actually make a real difference.

To be honest there are not a lot of intersections on this stretch of road. In about a 25 mile span there are about 7 traffic lights. Any police agency could have set up a roadblock. The state trooper barracks are about 7 miles away. At the end of the day this is going to fall back on the police. The victims family will sue and the two big players that are defendants that will be named will be Broward and Miami Dade County and only bc they have the deepest pockets and are adequately insured.

Stop the video at 0:02 sec mark and you can clearly see its a W203 C Class.
There is not very man traffic lights on the stretch of road. The speed limit I think is 55mph in that spot. There is practically nothing on that stretch of highway.

Yacht Master Blaster showed me a better video where its clearly a w211. The grille, wheels, and pano roof popping out gave it away. It was hard to tell from the first two helicopeter videos but the one showed from the ground gave a better view. Sorry for the mix up.

When the W204 was first mentioned, I kept thinking you were talking about the R-Class being wrong.
