That raised stop went up while it was in the BMW's blind spot. Also, being both an ///M and AMG owner I can tell you that my friends with BMW's are far better drivers then my AMG and muscle car buddies, since we actually do HPDE's and track days. No offense but going to the drag strip doesn't make you a better driver, I rarely ever see a Benz at any of my track days.

If it's a V12 top of the line 760iL I'd go ahead and assume it'll at least have the Parktronic sensors. Blind spot or not they should've started beeping or what not. The sensors would've picked up the track. Sometimes when I'm getting to close to the curb to park the sensors go off in my car too.

There could be a possibility that the driver had them turned off but I doubt it.

No worries BMW drivers definitely take the award for jerk level I must admit lol. ///M drivers are not as big of douches though it's the 335i guys that are the biggest douches. Their cars with bolt-ons will pull M3's and they're always trying to justify their purchase. One of the main reasons I got an E55 was so I can shut them, mustangs, and Camaros up lol.

There are a lot of stupid and arrogant BMW drivers, but the ones who know what they are talking about and attend multiple HPDEs a year (myself included) are among some of the best drivers. I feel bad for this guy because it was partially those idiot's fault who were standing on the barricade... I would have given that dude in the white shirt a piece of my mind.

When you buy a car sold as "the ult driving machine" it can lead to visions of grandeur ..... I get this feeling everytime I pilot my wife's Dinan x5 5.0!!!!!!
