No, next the pulley damaged crankshaft.

No more of the pulley from the EC. Belts destroyed huge amounts.

The pulley must be perfectly balanced.

Do not use without the crankshaft pulley kit extension. (never)

pulley from shardul has unlimited possibilities. You can quickly change the diameter. Risk of damage to the crankshaft is close to zero.

where did you get the extension? So with your experience trash the ec pulley and get new or the extension is the fix

Ok I have to chime in here. The extension kit is for added safety to prevent the pulley from coming off. If your pulley is breaking belts the extension kit is not going to solve the problem. Let me also add I can only guarantee the extension kit working as it is supposed to then used in conjunction with our pulley not other pulley brands.

Shardul when you say "our" pulley do you mean and oem mb pulley used as a core and "other" meaning aftermarket? I'm in the market for a crank pulley but I want to do it right. My gut tells me use a stock core and have it welded style by asp. I need a 168.

Many attempts. Time wasted.
All of us that are using the Bosch EV14 injectors, should we start worrying about them?

maybe yes, maybe no. If you have monitored the AFR there is nothing to worry about. In my car worked badly. tested on two different engines. I tried different tunes from different companies.

Did you test your injectors connections while the car running..?, if so,

prefer if you can at least change your injectors temporary, to confirm what's behind the sense....

ZAYED,,
We have other injectors and we do not have any problems. We connected that same as ev14. It is our experience and thrust me we checked few times everything.

Did you test ev14 in m113k with afr rate, if yes please write yours experiences.

One of very good tuner wrote:

"Ok those are Bosch EV14 which I cannot stand I have had more issues with those then I hate to admit and will not use them any more"

Here we go

Hi

I have the Eurocharged 550cc injectors. I have not had any issues with them. I did though have an issue with one of the adaptors that go between the injector and the cars wiring and this has been fixed.

The real unanswered question is: Did EC fix this issue with their crank pulley? Was there a bad or incorrect batch of pulleys made? Has the issue been corrected?
No one has seemed to provide a clear black and white answer. If they did correct the problem what was done.

There are a lot of solutions, it is your decision what you do.
