Hello guys. My friend found a 2007 E63 amg for $25K with only 68K on it. 1 owner, all records. Does $25k sound like a good deal? Its flint grey on black. No pano or nav. He checked it out and it is in great condition. New tires, no mods, not even window tint. Ran like a raped ape he said. Maybe a stupid question but, still have an inspection done?

sounds like a good deal, i paid 32k for mine in March with same miles but it didnt have a single scratch or dent and was perfect mechanically. Definitely get it inspected.

Yes i def sounds like one. I will tell him to get an inspection done no matter what. From what he said sounds like a great car. Showed me pics and looks great. i love the dark grey color.

something smells fishy on this, it is pretty low price and has low mileage. You should pay to take it to an MB dealer for an inspection. also, 07's had valve/head issues so pay attention to that. This seems to good to be true man..don't let the car take over your common sense.

Thats what I will def do is have an inspection done. The car does not have push button start, pano roof or navigation. My bud told me that it has the basics, i guess as basic as an E63 can get lol.

OP,
something is up with the car, when i was searching for a car everyone priced in 30K had issues.. needed brakes, airmatic issues, overall poor condition. I paid 32k and it needed brakes which cost about 2500 (pads,fluid,rotors)

Just got word that the owner of the car is going to have a free 32 point inspection done tomorrow and a full inspection done Saturday morning. Hopefully everything checks out good.

I just bought my '07 with 37k miles for $33,000. It has P2, Pano roof, Weistec ECU (555 bhp), Nav, keyless, rear shades and is in excellent condition. I had the dealer do a pre warranty inspection and it was good to go. Paid $ 3,500 for extended warranty for 30k miles or 30 month with $ 250 deductible.

I thought it was clear that you should get your own inspection done, not rely on the owner.

Strange, I've looked at a lot of E63's ('07-'09) and have NEVER seen one without nav or pano roof. OP, are you located in the U.S.?

Are you sure it is an E63? no nav and no pano? Sure it is not a rebadged E350

I've never seen an E63 without Nav... pretty sure that was a standard feature

Too low. Something is either wrong with the car and they are looking to dump or he has financial liquidity problems. Have it thoroughly inspected.

Congrats man! How is the cars MPG with the Weistec ECU tune? I was thinking of doing that on mine but was afraid of my mpg dying.

My bud passed on the car. The guy post poned the inspection twice stating he had to go out of town on business. Something fishy.

No 2007 E63 comes without Navi...

I am sure AMG comes without Navi...E55's did and few early 63s did. I think it was standard from 2008+

I got 24 MPG believe it or not from L.A. To S.F. 400 mile trip @ 70 -80 mph on US 101, lots of winding roads. However, in stop n go traffic I only get 17-19 MPH.

E63's have 2pc rotors which list for almost $900 MSRP each (you can get them for @$600 on most online sites), have to love the cheap to replace 1pc 55 rotors!

i just sold mine. no pano or push to start. 62k miles. black on black. paint and leather were flawless. 12k miles left on the warranty. needed rear tires and a C service. I blew it out for $30,000 b/c i moved and had to sell. Should have gotten more but i was in a rush. Seller happy, buyer was/is Very happy.

How bad is the head gasket problem on E63s ?

I am in the market for an E55 but im leaning towards an E63 (W211) now. Im just scared about the head gasket problem or the head bolt problem.
