Belt wrap kit

Does anyone on here have documented proof ,I mean a data logged file that shows this helped there boost ? I have DashDaq XL and it shows my boost trail off about 1 psi towards top of 3rd gear ,before I buy it wanted some data ,as you know there are a lot of claims on here that never pan out IMO

I have no before/after logs, but I do have a video that has my clearly-audible belt squeal before the belt wrap kit and now it's quieter than a mouse farting in Helen Keller's ear.

But recovering that 1 psi with the kit sounds about right. Could be more if the belt's a little old and loose.

Same here, no actual data to back it up but I did the belt wrap kit when I added long tubes and SC pulley so it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I did have bad belt squeal without the kit....now there is no noise whatsoever.

I did the belt wrap kit when one of my pulleys went bad because it was cheaper to get it than the OEM pulley! Besides, can't ever go wrong with more wrap on a blower, especially if you are using a smaller upper pulley.

someone posted dyno comparison and I believe the belt wrap kit added 21HP to the wheels

not really added, but minimized power loss due to slipping

"someone posted dyno comparison and I believe the belt wrap kit added 21HP to the wheels"

Toadster, I would say this is a correct statement...as far as "added"... For example, use headers. You would say "added" though it could be just as accurate to say "minimize power loss due to choking of the exhaust"...

just being technical, and I like to look at your sig pic!

you def need one if you have smaller upper pulley and larger crank pulley.
