04 E55 steering wheel w/E63 paddle shifters and leather airbag
I'm posting this here since there's a lot more traffic and maybe some of you might be interested in these parts I'm selling. I upgraded to the new style wheel so that's the reason for selling.
So here it goes, selling my 04 steering wheel that comes modified with the oem E63 silver shifter paddles and also the G55 leather wrapped and stitched airbag.
Looking to get:
$650 steering wheel and airbag
$250 steering
$400 airbag

Thanks slownrusty, the command is the 09 w211 NTG2.5, everything is oem and part of the w211 facelift. The leather airbag really makes a huge difference for the interior.

Mert, you might as well just make a new thread about your Command swap. A TON of us would like to have more options like this. Does it play DVD's while moving? Lastly, love the paddle conversion. If I could find a quick buyer for my Carlsson wheel I might take a stab.

I agree a ton of people want these options but only very few are willing to pay top dollar for these oem retrofits, most of the people prefer the chinatown route....
It doesn't have video in motion but you can buy a module and enable it, on the old command you would enable it via star. Paddles are great and look like factory. Pm me when you're ready, I'm looking for an oem spare wheel if you have one.
I should start a different thread.

I love that instrument cluster swap. How much did that run you? Did you have any problem with it displaying the correct millage after the swap?

Best thing about this upgrade is that it now shows on my data card when you pull up the VIN #, talk about certified oem retrofit, I had the dealer perform a software upgrade on the command so I can have it up to date and also install the latest map disc and it was automatically added to the data card, it's like getting a stamp of approval after all that hard work

The command upgrade is tit$. So basically you just need to get a hold of an 09 command unit from a w211 or w219 correct? Plug and play with the wires?
Also, and this will decide weather or not I start throwing money away, is the navigation display in 3D??

There is a lot more to upgrading the command than that. Here is a thread that gives a some info on the what is needed, but not all of it. I plan on doing mine this spring and have been reading up on it as well to prepare myself for the ntg2.5 upgrade.
