dude, I was getting my resonator/secondary cats chopped out and replaced with Xpipe and when we checked the Xpipe, realized it was too small... I drove for a week with primary cats open dump... and it sounded identical to yours... not sure how you do it. I was going bonkers

We should get our cars together and make a vid of back-to-back exhaust sounds.

I have E63's on mine, MBH long tubes, primaries deleted.. I still think C63's are the best IMO...

C63 are the loudest and have a bit of a high pitch (exotic sounding)

CLS55 is right behind that in terms of volume, but a bit deeper

E63 is a little louder than stock

Any of these can be "upped" if you remove the resonator. The one thing I wanted to stay away from: The 57 Chevy truck sound.

I could not do the C63 having heard it in person. It sounds great, but its too loud for me. The CLS55 is just barely within my acceptance level. I am SOOOOO glad I went with these vs. the C63. I would have had to do it again, and that would have made me mental.

Did I just see you on the 54 --> 163 interchange where you exited at Clairemont?

...How about we bring them all together... I have the 07 E63 with ARH Longtubes, 300 cell CATS, into ARH X Pipe with Silverstrk's E55 resonator and mufflers... Oh yeah,.. a pair of Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonators thrown in between the resonator and muffler... Why?..what else..the wife...It's quiet and no drone at all until you plant the foot.

Is there any drone at all with the C63 + resonator delete? I have a chance to pick up some C63 mufflers locally. Debating on deleting the resonators or not. I don't want it to be too loud and don't want any drone. The E55 is my daily and comfort is my priority - the M5 gives me my loud and obnoxious fix

I just got the c63 muffs installed. No other changes. It's barely louder than stock. Just a little more throaty. Sounds good. Not as loud as a stock c63, e63 or s63.

I'm considering deleting my resonator, but I think it's pretty good where it's at.

Ok, feeling a little bit lonely here.... Does anyone have an aftermarket on an E63 we can hear?

It will depend on other mods: headers / cat delete

The C63 mufflers are too loud for my taste (in combo with no cats / LT's), The CLS55 is just where my threshold ends. If it were a little louder, it would be too much, but I'm a puss.

If you have stock manifolds and cats, the C63 are probably tame. When you open up the rest of the exhaust, they are pretty frickin loud.

Deleting the resonator will increase the sound.

Depending on how loud you want, you can delete the secondaries/LTs as well.

Personally, my car makes more than enough noise for me with just the C63s mufflers and the resonator deleted. I think it would be far too loud for my taste if I did more to the exhaust. It is just right as this point, IMO.

I still haven't taken vids ... last two months have been busy! I will try my best in the coming weeks.

That sounds savage toadster, is that with resonator removed and c63`s on. Also have you taken the primary and 2nd cats off too?

that's just the headers with collectors... it was fun for about 3 minutes

at idle, it just shakes change in your car, but surprisingly quiet when cruising at 1800rpm

it's all buttoned up now... need to do a vid

Regardless what we have for exhaust mods, we can all rest assured that our beasts sound more like a race car than the current eco, green, bad handling, ugly excuse for a F1 racer. Yes, they may have just killed the goose that laid the golden egg.
