Hey guys,

Trying to figure out what route to take. I want to hear some grunt while flooring it, but still be relatively quiet under normal driving conditions as well as on the highway.

I've looked into Eisenmann Race exhaust, Meisterschaft GT exhaust, or even a cutout to bypass the mufflers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Will E55 mufflers with removed sound insulation packing equal E63?

There was a pretty detailed thread a month or so ago. It had a good detail of each stage of the E55 muffler (stock, packing removed, tubes removed, etc). Videos as well.

While I dont have any clips yet. This weekend I installed a full vorsteiner C63 exhaust onto my E. I was surprised whole system almost bolted right up.
