Here's mine going under a bridge. I tilted the sunroof open for this. Again, MBH headers and mid-pipes, an X-pipe, C63 mufflers. It's mean. Spot the flashing triangle?:

Here's my setup.

E63 with Kleemann Long Tube Headers, Primary and Secondary Cat Delete--Replaced with 200 cell sport cats. I kept the resonator and everything back of it is stock.

That sounds perfect

Would love that shame no one makes LT headers for RHD car's

As I begin my search for c63 mufflers...
I was wondering if you guys think that c63 mufflers/3" straight pipe"/x-pipe/res delete/ and secondary cat delete is too much for a daily driven E?
I want loud but at the same time I don't want too much rasp/drone when driving around town. If I keep my foot out of it does it matter anyway? Right now I'm leaning towards doing that set up, the only variable is to delete the secondary cat or not?
Also how much would it cost to get all of that exhaust work done? Just a ball park figure obviously it varies by shop.

Thanks!
Kyle

If it were me I would go long tube headers, (primary delete), leave res and 2nd cats, C63.... Nice and quiet until WOT and all hell brakes out... As a daily I don't want it too loud until I let everyone know I GOT SOMETHING FOR YA.. As you can see in my sig I have the E63's (which I like), but, the C63's I think sound the best...

Took about 5hrs for makeing it from header back... Just labor... I only paid 200 flat cash cuz I know the guy but you'd prolly be around 600+ in labor, plus your own material and plus c63 exhaust plus X pipe it adds up Alot lol but if your happy To the end.. That's all that matters to me at least

K.. rained on my parade a little there, I was hoping for a 300-400 dollar install haha
What x-pipe did you use? I know there are some cheap ones out there. Iirc a couple months ago Toad linked an x-pipe that was ~$50? Might be wrong..
I love your set up though, so it has me wondering! haha

Yeah there's no reason to cheap out for sure! I'll start shopping it around once I actually get a hold of a set of mufflers... Seems like these things are hard to find lol.. Now that I'm thinking about it though I might know a guy that can do it, will have to look into it!

Did you use a magnaflow x-pipe? or is there another solution? I just know magnaflow off the top of my head cause it was brought up in a post a day or two ago..

I had my X-pipe replaced with a C63 resonator yesterday. So, current setup is: MBH headers and mid pipes, C63 resonator, C63 mufflers.

This vid also shows off the supercharger sound with my new intake:

And some light revving from outside:

My setup:
Deleted secondaries (custom fitted X piping in their place)
Deleted Resonator (straight piped)
C63 mufflers

Stock headers.

The sound is perfect for me, tame and quiet while cruising like stock, loud and obnoxious on WOT. I wouldn't go any louder, that's my personal taste.

Cold start with small revs (under 2k), in the summer - much louder startups in the winter/cold months. Yes, I'm an idiot for not opening the car's garage door, but the other side was open.

PS - the description says resonator delete & C63 Mufflers, but this is with the secondaries deleted as well. This was the Monday after my brother's wedding weekend with uncles and cousins, so hangover doesn't begin to describe the way I was feeling that day.

Jealous of all this... I'm teasing myself with just a resonator delete.

Is this only resonator delete and C63 mufflers? Otherwise totally stock E500?

Sounds nuts, but in a good way.
