Battery issues

I know it's been discussed before, but can't find the thread. Battery on my car goes totally dead, if it's not driven for a couple of days. Local stealer tracked it down to faulty tele aid module and replaced it. $2990 later I left it at the airport and flew back to find it totally dead again.
Can somebody advise, if it's possible to use STAR to find out which module draws juice from the battery.
Any advise will be greatly appreciated. One more thing: do NOT use dealers - they are bunch of incompetent crooks!
I wish MB USA will sometime address this issue!

If you paid the dealership 2990 dollars and the problem is not fixed then then you should have the car returned to them and have it diagnosed properly and repaired. The only additional cost to you would be an additional part that needs to be replaced. Have them return the old so call faulty tele-aid module on their dime. If they give you the old well something else failed after we repaired it call the MB regional manager and higher if no response for recommendations to a reputable dealer after getting your money back. This is another reason to pay with a major credit card. Also they should be on the hook for the tow.

if you do, do you have a habit of opening the driver door before turning off the car?

I would send it back to the dealer that supposedly fixed it.

There are **** poor technicians at every shop. Some are good at mechanical issues, and some good with electronics. Some are just good all around. These people are not limited to dealerships though.

The vehicle I just bought had a similar problem when it was traded in (i have the paperwork for the repairs the dealer did before they sold it to me). It was the Teleaid control module and also the passenger seat control module were drawing 500mA, and draining the battery basically overnight. They repaired it by installing a new seat control module, and then "installed most bus fiberoptic loop at tele-aid control module and coded tele-aid out of central gateway and srs module."
