What size Drag Radials ???

According to my calculations the stock rear tire height is 25 in

the front tire height is 26in

if I run a 255/60/16 they will be 26in tall

or a 275/40/17 is also 26in tall, just 0.8 in wider

will the taller rear tire set off any trouble codes ABS? or change shift pattern?

due to the increase tire height?

Looks like the Hoosiers and the Nitto.

Try to keep the diameter the same as stock. You don't want to lengthen the gear ratio on our cars if you don't have to.

Ideally you want to run the smallest tire width / diameter and still get traction.

You'd want to run a 255/50/16 not a 255/60/16. More sidewall usually means more traction, so I'd go with the 16s over the 17s. I run the 255/50/16 mickey thompsons and dont have any abs or traction control issues.

Only ran once on the MTs. I think my 60ft was a 1.8x.. I realized after the fact I was around high 20 psi's. I think they do better around 20 psi ..

Ive heard the hoosiers are actually better than the MTs, but they are both good tires.

Not sure where you're getting this info... with the hefty low end torque, the lower final gear certainly wouldn't hurt. Regarding the smallest width with traction, that's really for the guys trying to squeeze the last 0.5mph. I do a lot of racin and my rule has always been go with big, learn the car, kill a couple sets of tires, THEN consider coming down a size for that trap speed. You never know how good of a 60 you can get without eliminating slip entirely.

I run 285/35/18s (25.9in) on the stockers and I plan to run 275/45/16s (25.7in) next season.
