Very nice ! Same setup that you trapped 120 with ? These E55s really are amazing for what they are.

LOL I'm eager to read the responses from the BMW guys. I have Kleemanns and upper pulley on my CLS. I've trapped a best of 118mph on street tires and stock cooling in the heat and humidity. My wife has a BMW 135i with DCT tranny. I've flashed the ECU. While her car is a blast to drive, it's no match for my 55k in a straight line at any speed.

Nice runs Urbanworm . Definitely had a blast . Other than you pulling me pretty hard I was either beating or within a car or so of everyone else . Let me know how things turn out at the track . I wouldnt be surprised if you trap in the upper teens to low 120s today with this good weather and DA .

Doing a back to back run shouldn't cause your car to go into limp mode. also your video losing over and over sure didnt look like a car going into any kind of limp mode lol....

Bottom line is when things were evened out with passenger and his car wasnt pulling boatloads of timing he clearly beats you every time like he should. Sorry but your tune only 335i isnt nearly as fast as you are thinking. Dont believe me then take it to the track. I would bet money you dont trap anywhere near 118 even with race gas.

Here just looked it up for you. Tuned 335i running race gas 15-16 PSI with upgraded ICs and exhaust are running high 11s at 112-114 MPH in decent air. I am pretty sure, no positive that any CTS-V who isnt totally heat soaked pulling tons of timing can trap a good bit more than that. Yeah bone stock 118 MPH is not out of the norm at all. I saw one in Sac come right from the public roads, never raced before in his life and trapped 116-117 MPH . That equals a car that will walk you from a roll just like he did once cooled down. Only 335i running traps speeds like that have headers/ downpipe, 109 octane, upgraded IC,17 PSI etc etc.

Like I said, cool beans you beat him first runs. Your car just isnt as fast as you are making it out to be and your ricer excuses are annoying .
Guys like you make me chuckle . Do you even race ??? Do you own a 335i ??? Have you ever owned a 335i ?? You obviously dont know **** about these cars .The cars I was able to keep up with and beat last night are cars that are track proven to trap over 114mph . My car should be in the 116mph range , but unlike you I will actually take my car to the track and run the number before I make any claims , but based on what I have beat I have a good Idea where I am at . As for the CTS-v runs you were not there so STFU . . I raced a 370z twice that night , raced the cts-v a minimum of 8 times , not to mention I had just drove my car back from the track earlier that day . These are not excuses clown just facts .

No, I haven't tracked the car with this setup yet. I had a 180 crank pulley and 19s back then, I now have stock crank pulley and supercharger pulley instead and 20s instead of 19s for wheels.

My mods are supercharger pulley, Kleemann headers with no cats with an x pipe and different mufflers (magnaflow), 80mm throttle body, K&N filters in stock airbox, Eurocharged heat exchanger with Johnson CM30 pump and a underhood coolant tank. Eurocharged tune with 550cc injectors. And like I said I was on 20" wheels seen in my signature.

I will see what the car can trap today at the track, I think it is about 117 but maybe it will surprise me, it is pretty damn cold out.

I am guessing 120mph or just under in the 119's. Keep us posted.

Who knows, I am just trying to guess from what other guys have dynoed such as E55Greasemonkey which was nearly identical and then what he has trapped in cold weather while also on the smaller stock wheels and I think his best is 119. It is a hair colder for me (think it was in the 50s for him) but I have these big wheels slowing me down. It would be cool to do 119 or 120 though.

The hard part is going to be trying to drive both cars and getting any kind of decent 60ft ft. I am mainly going to drive the Cadillac but definitely want to drive the E55 one or two times as well and then let my friend take it down the track if he decides he wants to.

About to head out to the track in a few minutes when my buddy makes it over to my house.

Nice to see the old E55 getting it done. I'm surprised that turbo cobra was with you at only 10lbs of boost but those cars are animals as most of us know. These cars are just made for roll racing.

Nice kills. If you still had the 180 on it would definitely be in the 120s most likely mid 120s

I trapped 121 @65F but high humidity. If Gainesville was closer I'd meet you thete tonight but just cant make it happen right now.

Ive got a few things in the works right now....2.82 diff swap w/wavetrac, and modifying the stock IC core to a single pass.

Sounds like you had fun and proved even these older 55's are still a threat on the street.

Which ones? Half were minutes apart one or two a good while. I can look at the slips and list them all. Or just take a pic of all of them and post that a little later.

I was just curios because I know with my car I would drop .2-.3 tenths if I hot lapped it on the 3rd and 4th run and would usually drop a few mph with each pass. The V's don't seem to heat soak much at all.

I never lost mph, actually went up from beginning to end. The times just fluctuated due to the struggle for a good 60ft.
