Fuel consuption for W211 E63, 2400+ miles trip @ 22.8 MPG
Took a trip from Seattle to Austin TX over the weekend.
Average HWY speed was 80 MPH, got 350 miles on a full tank before the reserved fuel light come on.
I wasn't expecting to get anything over 20 MPG with an EC tune, 2 adult, 100lbs of luggage and highest elevation was 7400 ft.
I have never seen anything over 16MPG during the time I had the E63. Maybe because I never gotten it pass 60mph in Seattle.

You need to compare the amount of mileage driven to the amount of gallons you filled up with. In my experience, the computer consistently overestimates.

After tune headers piping and filters
22.3-22.8 75-80mph
24-25 anything between 60-70 mph
Soon as you go over the 75mph the MPG drop like a rock...
but for the power we make and the weight of our cars this is really good.

If I try really hard I'm able to get it up to 14-16mpg in the streets. If I punch it for whatever reason.. 9-11 MPG
