Aeroforce interceptor problem

I installed my aeroforce interceptor gauge a few days ago. It ran great for 1 day. Then, it would start up and shut down and start up ... It keeps restarting over and over again. Anyone here know the solution?

Thanks, yes I sent them an email. I was thinking if someone here had the same issue and knew of a solution that I could perform.

So far, no solution from aeroforce. I am disappointed with their customer service. I am told to change the parameters of the gauge. I have already told them that is not possible as the gauge is stuck on start and restart. I have followed up with them 2x and no response. It pisses me off when I have to chase the vendor for a solution to their product.

No solution proposed by Aeroforce, so far. I hate it when I have to chase the vendor for a solution to a problem with their product.

The only issue I had that resembled this was when I had too many pids selected. It was as if the refresh rate was too slow and the software would reset because it wasn't getting the data in time. It seemed like it preferred 5 or less pids only though the OBD.

Looks like my aeroforce gauge broke again. The same problem back in January of this year (just keeps restarting) has returned. I am sending it back to aeroforce to have it fixed, but just a pain. Great product and concept. It really gives you a better connection and sense of what your car is doing (like detecting knock). But, 2x same problem in 10 months. Anybody else had to 2x sent their Aeroforce gauge back for repairs?

I have one thing todd told me was to unplug it if the car sits a while and the battery goes low or if you try to start it while jumping it. I keep my car with a tender on it have not had a issue since.

Had mine for 7 months until it went out. Sending it off and spending 60 bucks to fix their problem is complete bs. Then again, I have no other option for this type of gauge.

Sounds like they need some quality control over there... As nice as the features seem to be, def not worth constant headaches to go through these type of problems

I don't disagee with you. And, my aeroforce broke again...this is the new one they sent me about +1 month ago. Urgh...my problem is that I also purchased a pillar gauge holder to hold the Aeroforce gauge. Is there a competitor to aeroforce? Great gauge but constant breaks down.

I give up on aeroforce gauge. Great idea but repeated failures and extra money in me shipping the gauge back to them each time has taken its toll. I am now looking at nGauge or dashdaq xl.
