Have you applied lubricant ? Or used your key in trunk to activate solenoid? Sometimes a flick of a flat head screwdriver in the latch can free it up.

Lubricant where?
Looks how is the latch

Is in the open position.
I used the mechanical key and nothing. Also I pushed the latch with a screwdriver and nothing. I can hear the mechanism if I press the fob, from inside of the car, the emergency button, etc. But the latch doesn't moves.

Does the latch move when you try to do it with the hand ?

It'll go back and won't come back if the cable has snapped.

From your 1st pic, you see the small hole that is created by the latch and the metal cover (right at the middle of the pic)? Put a small screw driver in there, pull it down, it should pop right out and it should be close-able again. GL

Cable looks good. I can press the latch (up) and the spring works punching the latch to the original position. But when I tried to close the hood the latch didn't close. The hood stay opens.
This is what happens

If it happens exact in the vid, from the second pic, release the 2 bolts a bit to adjust the latch. Move the latch up a bit. GL

If this latch is normally close and is a mechanical part, looks like there are no locking ping or any other mechanical part to complete the locking... really don't know. The part can be damaged? The opening (electronics) looks good, using any bottom (fog, trunk or driver side).

No, cant do that. The latch don't locks likes that. I press it, but get back to open position by itself. Never locks.

Either your release cable is stuck open or the catch is broken. Can you hear a click from the trunk when you press the button for trunk release?

Either way, you probably need to strip the trunk trim to see what's going on. Picture #12 gives you a rough idea of how to strip the trim.

Thanks.
Yes I can hear the click when press the button for trunk release. Also I can see the gears working trying to open the latch. But is on open all the time. Maybe is time to buy a new latch (A1717500185 / A1717500085)?

Have you removed the latch? Try that first to see if something got stuck.
A1717500085 is likely the one you want. If you have code 884 (additional lock) in your data card then it is the other one. Can't tell without a VIN. You can physically tell if you have the additional parts around it also … for example part 120 in the pic. If you have that then it is A1717500185.

Well, I removed the latch, but don't routed the mechanical cord.
I will strip the trunk trim to see what's going on.

and ...? Not sure I understand. Does the latch lock when removed? If not, then time for new part

No, the latch never locks. Is like to be on open mode for ever. All works but on open position. I can hear and see the latch gears trying to open the mechanism, but is open already.

Having a broken latch in the trunk open position is 1000% better than the latch failing in the trunk closed position.

This is amazing! I used a piece of tin carton between the latch and the metal piece to maintain the trunk close during the night. Now I can't open the trunk!!!!
