03 E55 AMG
Just did mine 2 weeks ago and it is the easiest job to do yourself on an E55 - all you need is a 13mm and 16mmm spanner, 2 jacks and a friend who is bored. I got the OEM part and it set me back less than $45.00 from a dealership. I found a really good video on youtube - sorry I don't have the link anymore, but try googling 'E55 AMG transmission mount'. Start to finish it took under 25 minutes. I highly recommend getting the genuine part.

i just did mine yesterday along with motor mounts. I used OEM. Car feels so much better. I thought i had something wrong with my tranny the way it wobbled the front when downshifting into first at a stop. None of that going on anymore. All is left hopefully,is the sway bar bushings (aka the whole sway bar) to get rid of this annoying click/groan noise going over the smallest bumps.

Engine mounts are painful to do yourself and although the OEM engine mounts have come down considerably in price, I would recommend getting a workshop to do the job. If, like me, you have aftermarket longtube headers installed then forget about doing the job yourself as the headers have to come out and are really difficult to remove without a lift. Expect to pay about $350.00 for a set of engine mounts and about 4 hours labour, but they are worth it once the job is done. I will be doing mine in about a month or so as I am broke again due to owning an E55.

Just to give anyone a heads up, the shop quoted me around 700 with parts and labor. So 2 motor mounts, 1 tranny mount, and a **** load of labor. If you have the tools, and patience, you could save your self some money.
