Did you check bulb, bulb socket, or fuse?

Try a test light or power probe...I don't know but when you find out, come back and post it! So that way this doesn't become another dead thread, with a question and no answer....please....thank you....good luck.

Corrosion builds up on the contacts. If the bulbs move while disconnecting from markers, they will sit in a bad contact spot. I have used sandpaper on a flat head screwdriver before to sand off the corrosion between the contacts. The wedge bulbs also have contacts that can move out of position and not make good contact. Check all that stuff. If all else fails, replace with Sunveer E63 or Eurostyle bumper and code them out in Star

You are right, they are 194s. For pre-faceift cars, you can pull the parking/standing light which is also 194 and switch them with the side markers to test them out. You then know whether it is a connection or bulb issue. Test light also helps of course.
I think the bulbs are #194's grab a set and put new ones in and test before putting back into the slot. You can get to them easy through the wheel well. Just turn the front wheels one way or the other and pull back the well cover. The contacts are likely corroded or the filaments in the bulbs slipped to the side when replacing. Since both are out, kinda leads into other things so a $5 test light will help to make sure.
