Infrared reflecting glass
Does anyone have the infrared reflecting glass option? One of the more expensive items, so it would need to be good.

I decided not to go with it after reading about the possibility of the glass interfering with my radar detector (V1).

If its the same thing MB called Performance Glass that you could get in 2003 (windshields only), its a special high metal tint thats sandwiched in the glass. It cuts a great deal of the heat, which helps alot with the sweeping angle of the S class windshield. It has very little color tint, just a very slight blue green. The tint has heavy metals in it, including gold, and its created using sputtering of the fine particles.
I found the manufacturer of this tint and got ahold of some , put it on the inside of my 2000 S500 windshield, and it does help.

FYI, in Australia the infrared reflecting glass is quoted at almost the same price as keyless go, so it would want to be ALL the glass!
