Here are a few more updated pics.

So far things are going together and fitting nicely. Well that is of course after moving a few things out of the way

I left the hoist chain on the engine because it has been in and out a few times And I am sure it will be going in and out several other times.

All the spark plug wires cleared fine. There will be a lot of things that get heat wrapped and looms as I continue through the build. Just trying to get everything mocked up so that I can break it all down, weld, remove engine/transmission, send parts to powder coater for some powder and ceramic coatings. Then there will be rerouting some wiring, making a few lines etc lol. Plenty left to do.

Peek-a-boo I love that view

The downpipes will run 1.125" above the coils. I have already started making a custom heat shield that will be over the coils. The down pipes will be ceramic coated plus heat wrapped. I am aware of the temps of the turbo. I will be running heat blankets on the turbos and already making arrangements for more ventilation around the turbo. Some of the stuff will be easier to see as I go along and post more pics. And some stuff people will probably say is stupid lol.

The car is still black. That is just some wrap to save some scratches while working on the car. You should stop by the shop tomorrow around 11 or 12. We are doing a cook out and some cars coming out to chill.

I am not using the factory radiator or coolant tank. The brake box has already been relocated to the passenger side behind the bumper. Where one of the factory oil coolers was located. I have a new aftermarket oil cooler that will be mounted in front of the radiator.

I love it that you're not shy about making drastic changes like moving the brakes! Can't wait to see this one done.

Been working on the beast again. Taking care of a lot of the little unseen things in the build. Things are continuing to move along. Here are a few quick pics I snapped today with my phone.

It looks like your making progess. I guess I'm a little ocd - I would have that engine compartment detailed, and I would at least have some tape over the open runners??

Lol, I am pretty OCD myself. That is just a spare motor I have for mock up. The crank is trash on that motor. This engine will become an engine coffee table after this. The engine that will be going in the car is on an engine stand with a bag over it to seal it off.

You must have missed this.

Judging by the pictures, the turbo is at a pretty decent angle. If you're over 14° from horizontal on the CHRA, that shiny expensive turbo will have a very limited life. This is, of course, assuming you're not running a dry sump oiling system. If you are, you can mount that turbo in any direction you please... but if you're not, I would seriously consider changing your plan. This coming from someone proficient in turbocharger design in a professional capacity.

No I didnt miss it. Here is a pic to show you the angle from a different view so you can see the angle better. Yes anything under 15* is usually ok. I have some other pictures that show it better. I just need to dig them up. This thread is just to give you guys an idea of whats going on. I am taking a lot of pics and documenting everything along the way. I havent posted up a lot of the little things because I will be doing another build thread when the car is finished. It will be pic heavy and show everything, stuff that I moved around, things modified to make the set up work.
