Comfort > Sport 1 - 10mm lower and stiffness increased > Sport 2 - 10mm lower and stiffness to the highest

Although visually I haven't seen Sport 2 drop further than Sport 1 but I have felt car getting flater (if that's a word).

When I do drive around canyon type roads - it's straight to Sport 2 , if the highway is a bit curvy then I do Sport 1.

85% of the time I'm in Comfort - that's the same reason why I'd never be able to switch to Coilovers.

Recently I was in Quebec- Canada and they have roads like you do in Cali - I was in Sport 1 and visually the road seemed flat but one bump came and I got air for like 1.5 secs lol

and if it weren't for Sport 1 , I think the jump would've been for higher and longer lol

I'm pretty much all the time in comfort, every once in a while I'll switch between settings (and raise/lower) just to exercise the valves a bit

In comfort the car seems to be floaty at high speeds.

.
Comfort is the only suspension mode that does additional lowering at highway speeds...

That can be an important factoid if you are trying to maintain precise alignment (especially toe)... It can change quite a bit even between comfort and sport modes.

I always drive in Sport I. Comfort is too soft/disconnected from the road.

Before I dropped the car, I saw a difference.

Comfort mode + the LCM set to a 25mm drop overall (so 30mm drop front & 20mm drop rear) is my prefered setup. Sport 2 in the bends to mitigate the cruise ship experience.

i drive in sport 1 suspension and M mode 90% of the time. seems like sport doesnt shift as quick on the paddles when i want it to as id does in manual mode.

In Manual mode, it doesnt seem to have that snap you get while holding it that gear as you would when you floor it in Sports shifting mode. It shifts to 2nd and then you are off.

am i the only one, or do others have others noticed the same? did trans flush and filter already as well. def made a big difference in shifting

Shifting with the paddles in Sport mode will still not give you near 100% control like M mode. Depending on throttle input, the TCU will keep you in a gear longer even if you asked for an upshift with the paddles.

Example, say you are in Sport mode and giving it a fair amount of throttle input, but ask for an upshift around 3500 rpms. The TCU will see your throttle input and determine that a later shift is preferable, so it ignores your request and upshifts when it deems appropriate.

I drive in Sport 2 all the time. And the car still feels too floaty for my taste. The C and S1 are wayyy too soft. If there was a way to firm it up even more in S2 (without going to coilovers) I'd be all over it.

I'm sure the higher center-of-gravity on your Wagon doesn't help it feel anymore planted as well. I roll around in S1 unless I'm on a road that I know has a bunch of ruts/undulations.

At the same time the wagon has a perfect 49/51 weight distribution, the sedan is 53/47 IIRC. So that would nullify the higher center of gravity, if anything it makes the car handle better (as a long time 911 guy I have to believe this )
