Hello everyone yes its me again asking questions lol ..
What muffler do some of you have ?
I am currently no 2cats no resinator ..but I want a deep sound seen a lot on YouTube ..some have recommended me a c63 I'm looking into that but need a lil more opinions ..is mangnaflow a good one ? Thanks

c63 is pretty awesome - really lets you know the car is a beast
magnaflows sound decent too

it's all up to personal taste to be honest

Think there was a list in order of preference somewhere, something like C63, cls mufflers and so on.

This is the thread I remembered and was looking at last night. I think it's all up to your preference and how loud you want it, but there's videos of almost every set up in there!

A lot guys like the c63 muffler - Do you have headers? If not, I would go with a set of headers before changing mufflers.

I LOVE my setup; I wouldn't want it any quieter/louder.
It is subtle/stock sounding when normal driving & cruising ... then substantially louder with 1/4 - 1/2 throttle... all the way to obnoxious loud on WOT pulls. IMO, the C63 mufflers should be on every E55 car. They amplify the sound of the blown V8

I have deleted secondaries (replaced with X-pipe to maintain flow velocity), deleted resonator straight piped into C63 mufflers.

Also, if you have headers or plan to do headers (mids or long tubes), remember that you'll be deleting the primaries and that will also contribute to dB level. If you have/do headers, I'd keep the rest of the exhaust system stock and just swap to C63 mufflers.

I'd check the exhaust threads as this has been beaten to death in the last few months.
