put in the fleabay e63 looking headlights.

Got into a very minor fender bender at 2mph a few months back. It cracked the front bumper and broke a headlight tab. Decided to give these fleabay units a try. I refinished my old lights a couple of times and they weren't quite shining near new anymore. These fleabay units do not have active cornering but I don't think my old ones were working anyway so I don't miss it. I do get an error about active not working, hoping that can be turned off via star. Besides that I am very very happy with how good they look. Hopefully they hold up. Suvneer front is going on next with some carbon lip! Thanks for looking!

They look really nice. Did you buy them from the seller named fishcake321?

They aren't so bad if you seal them up with silicon.

Those are the ones. I bought the non adaptive ballasts like they suggested (found 2 used ones on ebay about 25 each) and everything comes on OK but the error is on the dash. They say these should be auto leveling but I have yet to see them move. Might be the fact the ecu is still expecting adaptive lights and not getting the right feedback. I'm hoping there is a star option to turn it off and just use auto leveling. For the mean time they have a manual up/down adjustment so I just made them level. For much less than the price of 1 new adaptive light I am pretty happy so far. It's yet to be seen what the durability will be but so far so good.

where do you seal? All around the front lenses? I have read the moisture horror stories about aftermarket lights.

What you can do is use the aftermarket lenses and shrouds and fit them to your original housings to retain OEM function while having the facelift look. MB also sells a headlight repair kit that replaces the broken mounting tabs for about $50. I've been able to repair many broken headlights this way.

Your lights look good by the way. Really refreshes the front end.

I haven't tried to buy the lenses seperate and I'm not sure you can. I'll inquire tomorrow.

Active cornering can be turned off in Star .. pretty easy to do.

You could also swap internals. This is what I did for facelift lights. The pre-facelift structure is similar.

Now get some LED driving lights! Well worth it!

Yup. If I buy aftermarket - always hit it with clear silicon. Also Lamix? on the front.
