Can you guys critique this dyno tune?

Just wanted to contribute numbers to the community if anyone is interested.

2006 CLS55: 180MM, johnson pump, Benzworks heat exchanger, PLM shorties, OE dyno tune:

91 octane: 488rwhp / 380lbft
C16: 512rwhp / 403lbft



Not sure why this car is so torqueless compared to others but I'll ask OE Tuning for the a/f ratios.

yes on these cars the TQ numbers should be higher than HP number.
maybe the operator is rolling into the throttle.

He might be rolling into trying not to hit the kicks down button under the gas pedal. We had to do that to my car until I got my tcu tune.

This kind of confusion happens quite often when the Hp and Tq are scaled differently. First indication is that Hp and Tq did not cross at 5252 RPM.

Glad you are enjoying the increased power!

Just to clarify, the torque axis is on the right, horsepower is on the left. Torque is depicted by the lines starting higher on the left of page falling off towards the right of the page. You can see on race gas TQ is over 600 to the wheel. Hp is 512. Axis has been scaled to fit both on page. If axis are equal in scaling then HP = TQ at 5252rpm.
Hope this helps those to understand how a graph should be read.
