w211 amg vs w209 amg (stock)
Hey fellas I been trying to figure out what is faster the e55 or the clk55 ..I did my reserch but haven't find where it states that either is faster ..so have you guys raced a stock clk55 ..clk55 has less hp and less weight so yeah I'm kinda lost here .?

Maybe was a stupid question but do to the fact that the clk55 has less weight I thought it had an advantage. .I knoe one thing I smoked the shi** out of a camaro ss today haha by like 3 cars

E55 2006 / CLS55 / S450 / Jag XKR2011
Well.... I had them both.... sold my CLK55 (w209) 1 month ago.
The E55 is much much much faster... period. I even felt my W210 E55(NA) faster than the 209.
I had 2 W209 and both of them felt slower than my 210 so imagine with the W211. They look small but weight the same as W210.

+1 E55 faster, and if just want for drag race, you've go tyour answer. For every day driving, however, the CLK55/W209 handling is waaay better than W211 - both in terms of steering feel as well as the braking.
