90k miles is indeed just broken in for that car. Those are very very good engines actually. Little maintenance things are expensive. But look at the msrp of what the car cost. Don't kid yourself, if you can't afford to maintain it, it's worthless.
Insurance companies and credit agencies swap data so unless your insurance AND your credit record are immaculate, you have that to deal with as well.
Awesome car, yes, affordable, no. Figure 6K for a transmission rebuild, At least a grand for a brake job. It probably needs new shocks, so there's another grand.
IF you do get serious, get and independent pre-purchase inspection. for $200 or so, you should get a readout of all the codes and a list of expected service items.
If you still bring it home, I'd start by immediately changing every fluid - oil, transmission, brakes, coolant, differential, and swap out all the hoses while you're at it.
