Anyone been able to get Euroflash V2 working in Windows 8?
Hey gang,
I talked with Philip today to get a new tune file going and when he tried to Teamview in and run the Euroflash V2 Software it wouldn't launch. I tried all compatibility modes and running with administrator rights as well. Still won't launch the program. Anyone have a work around for me or anything else I can try? Laptop is 3 months old and has barely anything loaded on it if that helps.
Regards

I have the same problem. Worked under Windows 8 but not under 8.1. Phil could not help me. Still unresolved. Had to use an older laptop with Win7.

If you don't have another laptop with W7/XP on it you could potentially use VMWare player and run a windows 7 VM. Provided the VM interfaces with the drivers correctly it should work.

My win 8.1 didn't work...I have a few suggestions:
1) Make sure you have a good internet connection
2) Download "teamviewer"
3) Have Phillip updated your drivers
4) Only upload tune during eurocharged business hour's

Mine gave me an error message at the end saying some packets might not have gone through and can brick ECU. Don't turn off the key.
So I re-flashed 3 times and got same message over and over again.
I gave up and turn the key off and restarted the car and it turned on.
So Jerry then told me that if the car starts that means everything went through fine and the error is probably due
to outdated drivers although after checking the version of drivers -mine was up to date.
I think they should just revamp their software to allow compatibility with newer OS.

I've had the same issues with Windows 8.1 and the software. I ended up dusting off a little old netbook I had in the closet with Win 7. Completely decrapified it and now I use it just for uploading tunes and checking out log files. Small enough to fit in that net in the passenger footwell.
I'd like to take it apart and install the components behind the passenger footwell panel and have it interface with my Zeitronix and OBD II and have a high res display where the stock screen is.
