Bay Area CA meet up!
Hey guys, for those that don't know me, I'm Steve! I came from a B6 Audi A4, and used to attend all kinds of meets with the Audi/vw community. I now have the W211 55 and was hoping to do the same meets with the Benz crowd, but haven't really seen anything going on. Is there a nor cal sub forum that I'm missing? I want to get out there and meet some Benz fanatics that share the same modding disease I have! Haha. So just thought I would throw this out there and see if there's meets I'm missing, or if any interest in setting up meets. Let me know guys! Here's said A4 and current E55, because we all know, without pics, threads are no bueno!

Yeah man I'm down to bs cars and throw back some beers! Where in Hayward? I'm over by the court house off of Jackson. I do all my own work, I'm a 10 year Mercedes Master Tech, work over at Autobahn Motors in Belmont. Where is that shop located? It would be cool to check it out. I've been thinking of running it by my boss at work if we could sponsor a mercedes car show there at the dealer, maybe even a special discount on parts and free inspections or something. I'll keep you guys posted if I can swing it, I would definately need a good turn out to convine him for future ones.

I'm local too - in San Jose - i see a few around here and there - welcome to the family -
A buddy of mine is a tech in Pleasanton (lives in Fremont) who does a ton of side work who does top notch work - always looking to refer him out - and he's an AMG head too -

Nice, I know a few guys from Pleasanton too, I worked at the Fremont dealer for 6 years. I see a few AMG's here and there as well, very few that are modded though. I'm glad this thread is bringing more and more of you locals out!

Hey some good news, I ran it by my boss and he likes the idea. We will be doing the following;
(Date to be announced)
* free car show
* free BBQ
* free curtousy inspections
* discount on parts
* discount on site dent removal
Sounds pretty good right? I will keep everyone updated, I'm tryin to nail down a date now. I will also post in the other model formuns too once I figure it out.
