E55 rough idle and lean out help, video inside
I've got an 03 E55, 100k miles, after a long highway drive a serious idle problem develops.
The car will run fine for approx 4-5 seconds, then completely choke out, the motor will violently shake, and a knocking from the throttle body or supercharger is heard loudly. The afrs tank to 20-22, then after a few second go back to normal. This repeats until the car completely dies. After the temps go cold, problem goes away.
Mods:
S55 snout
82mm TB
Looped Rail
MBH Longtubes + full exhaust
Upgrade heat exchanger+pump
Recent Relevant Maintenance:
New fuel pump, fuel sending assembly
New plugs
New 02 sensors
Gauge in the video is measuring twin bank wideband 02 readings.
No fault codes active or stored.
Sorry for the quiet audio, please crank speakers.

That's strange. RMPs look pretty steady, right? Are you running larger injectors? What tune and when was the latest updated tune? Might be the MAP sensor as it might be the thing giving some of us modded guys a real hard time. I just ordered what I believe is the correct MAP to fix my issue.

Stock injectors, but looped rail.
I believe it was tuned last year at Eurocharged, hasn't been messed with afterwards.
I have plans for a fresh dyno tune with a boost increase.
I get the occasional P2007 B28 Map Sensor code once in a while, but I rarely get it.

Check: tb (any leaks?)
Fuel pump/sending unit (are any of the plastic hoses crimped? Are fittings going into the pump seated correctly and securd?)
Since you are leaning out, check all fuel items carefully.
Incidentally, wideband displays are nice. How are they mounted there?

I do not lean out until after a highway drive, anything prior the car drives phenomenal.
Does this sound to you guys like a hiccup with the map sensor like I've been reading lately?
