Another E63 bites the dust...
That's sheer insanity man. I'm with you, if that thing blows out of warranty it would magically disappear out of my driveway... How can they justify 75k for just the motor in a 100k car.

Pull the heads and do a rebuild
unless you getting new dealer motor...get a use motor might have other issues...rebuild and have the heads port and polish,,add headers now...
I loved my 07 e63 but will wait it out for a twin turbo....cause of these issues..

That's the problem I am facing. If I get a used motor that is in the effected date range then i'm still going to have the head bolt issue. Hopefully the rest of the motor is good and I can get away with new head bolts. We will see what the shop foreman says tomorrow.
