If I remember correctly it's the multifunction sensor module, in charge of wipers and ambient air temp sensor.

Yeah? Weird, my wipers work at all speeds. I guess I'll plug it in and see what changes. Just didn't want the previous owner to have messed up something and left it un plugged.

You should probably get your car scanned with a stars unit so you can find most all of your electrical problems at once.

Had the car scanned once, only fault was for the SBC module? He said I should replace my small aux battery and it will clear, so I did & it did.

Denis E55 Do not let the MB fanatics get to you. Most of them are ignorant idiots that do not want to help they only want to Complain and make fun of people. If there was a way to block the Fanatics from commenting on posts I believe people would block them. Anyway just ignore them. They are not worth a comment back because that is what they live for. If I new what the part was I would let you know but I am new at owning a mercedes and I had my run in with the fanatics also. good luck and keep posting because there are a lot of good members out there that can help

@Denis....that was not a personal post. That was GM's marketing slogan in the mid '80's to try and appeal to a younger audience.

What Greasemonkey was trying to tell you is that these cars are complex systems, compared to older cars.

Nothing there to be taken personally.

If you hate it already you are doomed. AMG cars are a love / hate relationship like any expensive habit, golf for example.
Selling is a good idea unless you are at least at 60/40 balance on love/hate. 3 weeks to overhaul my pa no roof tipped my balance from 100/0 but even then I was at 90/10 with 90= love

It is a part of the AC system, it is the air quality sensor and is what controls tunnel mode.
That is when the car senses, high carbon monoxide, low sunlight, it shuts all the windows and sunroof and closes the cabin fresh air intake, and turns on recirc and opens the duct work for the cabin charcoal filter.

I have no issues with the car other then a slight oil leak due to bad o ring which I fixed today. I'll plug this in and be on my way.
