Supercharger coolant pump info and source
There has been a LOT of discussion about various supercharger coolant pumps on the following link:
https://mbworld.org/forums/m275-v12-...ion-pumps.html
IF you are interested, it's well worth reading. It's several pages long, and the 'good information' doesn't really come until the mid-late pages. The 'guru' there from England has tested over a dozen different coolant pumps, including the first Bosch used by MB/AMG, and the upgraded replacement Bosch model used in later cars. The upgraded one is a significant improvement in coolant flow, therefor keeping temperature of the air into the engine lower.
However, the pumps he most recommends are Pierburg pumps that are used in BMW's (his flow rate charts clearly show dramatic improvement). These are about $250 -$300 or more at a BMW dealer, and in the open market The Pierburg CWA 50 (same pump) runs in the $150 -$200 more.
I've found that these pumps are quite popular with the guys who are developing and driving electric cars, and found a source for the pump at a significant discount. I paid $75 plus reasonable shipping costs for a new one I recently bought and just received.
The fellow selling these has more, and is willing to have his e-mail given to those interested in buying (but he is leaving home - west coast - in a few days and may not be responding to e-mails for a while). IF you are interested in purchasing this significant upgrade for your supercharger coolant, contact me via a direct e-mail and I'll provide his e-mail address. I'm sure it will be first come first served until his supply is exhausted.
My e-mail address is: kittyandgary@verizon.net
PS: Sorry about the wrong link. It has been corrected. This link is SIGNIFICANTLY more technical than the one referenced by cij911 below, and full of LOTS of pump flow information for over a dozen pumps.

I look for info on the pumps from the manufacturer but sometimes they don't list all the info you need so you gotta call them and it's like pulling teeth, luckily this info came from hooley

There are a lot of pumps and test out there but it can be a lot of work to decifer the info we need on our cars REAL time! Things like head pressure GPM and free flow GPM or push pumps and pull pumps, and what combo works the best with a tank system or non tank system. Magnetic drives (IE Johnson pumps) do not do well with head pressure and our system has a lot of head pressure, so as mentione many times before, live test on my car have always shown the good old strong electriv drive motors work the best. You can spend 300- 1000 buck a pump, depending on what you want. Some pumps can even be electronically tuned now to flow more than MFG rating.
With all the live flow test I have done on my car and keeping pump cost down, I prefer a Rule 2000 push pump in my trunk tank to feed my Mezerie WP136 up front pump that goes right into the blower. The next thing that helps flow, no matter what pump, is to blueprint all your water lines and fittings. That means upsize them all, take out all the 90 deg bends and kinks and bore out all your intercooler fittings etc, to increase flow and doing this will make most any pump flow a lot more. With a trunk tank, I prefer single pass Heat /Exchangers to keep water moving quciker but for closed sytems, duel pass helps cooling .
Some extreme racers remove all the heat exchangers, use one big ice tank and run 1.5" water lines right into the custom made intercooler.

Is the pump your friend selling is CWA-100/AMG? Which is the same pump as renntech ?
I was thinking to change my IC pump to merize pump or CWA-100/AMG because temperature here is around 50c =~ 120 Fahrenheit.
Does anyone know if changing to one of these pumps would be effective in this heat and better than the 010 Bosch that am currently using ?
Thanks in advance.
