You're not missing a beat on getting a monster built by any means. Looking forward to seeing how she does, Craig.

Has anyone converted the 55 to a dual throttle body so the 63 style Weistec intake could be used? It would seem that the supercharged 63 intake would assure you get colder air, more volume with less restriction, and more consistent hp without as much heat soak. The Weistec 55 intake just seems like an afterthought.

Does the Weistec 3.0 need any fancy fuel pump upgrades or is it good with stock set up? I know you went nuts on the fuel delivery.. just curious about when I do my Weistec if i need to factor in $5K of fuel pump work.

Thanks for all the kind words fellas. The old setup is completely off the car now. I want to mention two guys on here that responded to my thread about needing to buy some headers.
Jason (JMB614) and Roverron on here both had a spare driver side and passenger side mbh (dyno comp) header laying gathering dust. They shipped them to me without wanting much at all except a hookup on some good in the future. I was blown away and will certainly take care of them when the time comes.
As a result I do have one brand new mbh (dynocomp) header going to be finished up this week. I could not cancel that order in time, so I will let that brand new passenger header go for $1100.00 Spread the word for me and I will hook the buyer up at my cost should he need a driver side header.

No sir dane, you don't need that. My return fuel setup did not cost much at all brotha. It was less money in parts than replacing both the passenger and driver side pumps and sender unit.

If this build is on a time constraint and you need a TB cable fast, I could send you the one from my car. I have it all taken apart for mods now and I'm still waiting for some parts to arrive.

Rbj, wanna come up to the 1/2 mile shootout at heavens landing air strip? it is the second week in September brotha? Paul is meant to have his TT E55 down at the event too. I think JR Cart and Weistec is coming in town for it

GL Craig. It will be a monster. I know the BenzWorks guys had a built motor E55 with the Weistec 3.0 and threw down 650whp/600wtq on a modest 91 tune. They ran a 10.8 without breaking a sweat with full weight. No doubt you'll be able to push beyond that I'm excited to see what happens when you push it!

I will be on the stock block in a couple weeks, but will be tuned for the blower obviously, 50 shot and a hail Mary of 120 shot. I do plan to build the bottom end right after the event, so I hope it does in implode lol.
My blower arrives Wednesday along with my other dyno comp header. The car will be driving by this friday with a stage 1 tune.

Very nice brotha, do you recall what the sled was trapping. Depending on who shows up, I am looking to take the 4 door 1/2 mile record this year. Last year it was at 160mph, so there were some fast sedans.

He was also on radials not slicks. Full weight, 91/109 mix. He had a buyer for the car the minute it ran tens so he just went onto the next project lol.
With that 120 shot, you should be ok. As long as your cooling and fueling hold up you will probably push yourself into some insane times!
