Where is Weistec on the 3.0 tune for the M113? I know there have been some threads regarding issues similar to those that people had with the FSP: Drive-ability irregularities, idle, CE light

Has the tune been sorted out? Is the mod do-able for a daily driver?

Fast is great, but fast in a car you can drive around like a normal person is even better-er

You're welcome. I've probably got the most mileage out there on a Weistec 55k, over 10,000 miles (2,000 on stock engine w headers and 8,000 on forged sleeved engine). It's been "close the hood and forget about it" reliable. I'd consider alcohol injection mandatory (at least FL, a convection oven of a state) which you already have.

I'm with you on the "ride it or crush it" mentality, at least with stuff like this that's a pain in the *** to work on compared to old school muscle which is actually fun to work on. If its high maintenance, I don't want it. That goes for cars and females

 

No issues here with the Weistec tune. Car runs really strong and smooth. You'll want to ensure you have efficient cooling mods as the clutchless set-up generates more heat at idle and when cruising. I do think though that the Weistec intercooler is more effective than the stock intercooler when going WOT.
