What are your worried about? Life is short -- indulge yourself. Last fill-up was $8.64/gallon here in Germany. Recently I've paid as much as $9.54. BTW 100-102 octane is readily available throughout Europe.

Leave it to a left leaning state to come up with something like. States like that have the highest taxes yet they are still broke; their system is fundamentally flawed.

What to do abut it? Vote against it, leave California like many others (and this would not be the only reason to leave), buy a Tesla or make so much money you don't care.

In Oklahoma City, I can find 93 octane for about $3.50 per gallon, but I agree with the German guy if the price were double or triple I would still fill up and enjoy my ride. lol

True, but only recently. Brown claims to have created a surplus by both spending cuts and tax increases, time will tell if this holds true. Being a California native, I hope things continue to turn around for one of the most beautiful states in the country. Having said that, they need to be more friendly to business. Taxes and red tape are not worth dealing with in California.

Live today, forget about tomorrow.
IMO if I gave second thoughts about gas I wouldn't be driving an AMG, Or a 6.0L SUV for that matter!

Let's see how long they can keep a surplus with this trend. I am sure Toyota moving will make a dent too.

With a 12.3% top tax bracket, it will not take long for those with money to flee the state too
