New Set of Rollers: 20" Niche Vicenza in Black Candy Chrome
Originally didn't want to do 20's, but I simply couldn't resist that concave:

Also painted the calipers red with new AMG logos:

Final setup:
F: 20x10, +35 (after 5mm spacers to clear knuckle) with 235/35R20 Vredestein Ultra Vorti
R: 20x10.5, +27 with 265/30R20 Vredestein Ultra Vorti, decent fender roll/flare
Enjoy, and comments welcome. Thanks for looking!

Only .5" narrow than recommended width range, actually. I was surprised as well when I saw the specs on the tire, but it sounds a lot scarier than it actually looks. Hell my 275/30R19 on the previous 10.5" rear was .5" outside of the recommended range too!

I am running 255/30/20 +38mm fronts on a 9.0" rim and a 285/30/20 +38 in the rears with a 10.0 and just as flush as yours i can drop it more but want some suspension dampening . I understand the wheel moves up and down as your driving. and as low as you have it the travel is greatly reduced
to stick the rears out 10mm more to fit a smaller tire is well, I wont say.. or to buy a set of wheels without the right offset is just foolish. as you have said before I guess we(mbworld) don't get it.
I have worked on cars all my life and am a ASE certified mechanic. I get what your trying to do, but fundamentally does not make sense
this is in comfort mode.. sport 1 goes down a little more

I see what your saying . but the 235/35 only have a tread width of 8.1" and your putting it on a 10.0 rim .just put proper size tires and offset. you own a rim shop. or do you not care and run a cheaper set of rims on the car and make it ride like a tank. thats over .5" thats more like 1.9"

I've been doing this for ten years and run one of the most respected wheel stores in the country, so you're not talking to some kid that decided all of a sudden that stance is cool. And I usually don't argue the stance thing online because it's like arguing politics, but a couple of notes:
1. In the pics, the car is all the way down. I drive it ~1" higher as I have an ELM module.
2. It does not ride like a tank. In fact the rear wheel and tire combination weigh only 1.5# more than my previous 19s.
3. The section width of these Vredesteins are very wide for the size, in fact, the 265/30R20 was wider than my previous 275/30R19 Toyo T1-Sport. Same for the front 235/35R20 vs. 245/35R19.
4. The concave offered on the "standard" width and offset wheels that would have made you happier look terrible for my application, so I pushed the envelope a bit, because I run a wheel shop and can.
5. I've spent silly money on wheels before, having owned a few sets of HRE's, BBS and even CCW. I'm not in the position to spend that much again on a set of wheels and am happy with these.
6. And most importantly: IT'S MY CAR.
7. *EDIT* I'm glad you are happy with your car, and I didn't want to attack yours as you did mine, but personally I think your rear tire looks awful as it's almost 1.5" taller than stock.
So, I certainly do appreciate your condescending concern for my and my family's safety, but go find some other stance kid to give advice to, as I am the last person on this board that needs wheel and tire fitment advice. Thanks.
