A few of my buddies have recently picked up the new M3's and M4's, I'm very impressed with the performance it's a big step up from the previous E9x. One of them just got down pipes and a tune. Maybe I can try setting up some runs between our cars this weekend.

 

With your mods you get my vote for the win and I agree with you 100% that these cars are a big step up. I have seen 2 of them on separate occasions giving it horns and they really move. What's more impressive is how they sit and move around high speed corners. Pity about the crappy sound they make.

 

Just the mere question of comparison between 12 year old 5 seater sports sedan and 2015 BMW M-car shows how brutal the Hammer was when new...

Not only faster but but better in almost every way. The bimmer is a great drivers car by all accounts losing traction more than the E63 but controlled slides instilling confidence. This unbiased 16 minute vid from Head 2 Head (my favorite motoring show) is a great comparison with some excellent information especially when testing on the dyno. Sorry for the off topic...
