Is that 216 F on the coolant and 147F IAT. Is that after a pull through the gears? I would say a little bit high. What was the ambient temperature?

With the Weistec charger, you're going to need proper cooling mods, otherwise cruising IATs will be a problem. At least split cooling, bigger h/e and meth. The KC kit would be a good add-on

Those iats are way too high. Like sirboost asked where do you live? You won't have much power with iats that high. You will need more cooling with the Weistec setup

My IATs are usually +30'F over ambient temp at cruising speed. They stay there at WOT because I have methanol injection. The only cooling mods otherwise are a remote trunk tank and bigger heat exchanger.

Install methanol injection as your next mod.

noted bro, trying to study the killer chiller now, but i can not find any room to fit the tank.

and what methanol you are using now? i may try to get 1.

and does your gear box have problem to manage the new power?

Killer Chiller, meth and a trunk tank and have no worries about IATs.

For meth, if you can spring it aquamist is the best, you can get an engine bay tank or a trunk tank

Do you have Weistecs CAI kit? Maybe that would alos help lower IATs?

As Sir-Boost-a-Lot and Hulk recommend - split the cooling and install a meth kit. Ambient temps here in South Africa are high in the summer months (95 deg) so the KC kit helps a lot with my cruising IATs. They reach 35-40 deg over ambient with the KC bypassed and 15-20 deg over ambient with the KC functioning

Ajm55- 35-40 seems like a lot. Is that cruising or sitting still? Sitting still I can understand but cruising , you shouldn't be that high. My cruising IATs are like 20-22'F over ambient when it's cold out, and like 30-32'F over ambient in the blazing hot Florida summers. The isolator panel seemed to help mine a little too.

That's while cruising on a really hot day, Chris. I have the isolator installed as well. It's probably because I'm spinning the s/c much faster than you (I suspect). I'm running a 170mm crank pulley and a 62.5mm upper pulley to compensate for boost loss at high altitude

I'm running the stock lower, and the 57mm upper so our ratios are comparable, yours might be spinning a few hundred rpm faster at redline. Maybe the bigger TB and intake tube are the difference?

Don't mind the dirty engine pic, this was before the last round of mods and "prettying up"

That intake tube looks significantly bigger than the one I'm using and yes, I have the 82mm t/b. One of these fine days, I may just look into sourcing a 90mm t/b, but I'd need someone here to reduce the constriction in the elbow as I know you've done on yours. Nice work.

You definitely need the 90mm. Get a hold of me if you can't find someone worthwhile to do the work, as it's more complicated than it seems. I have an extra Weistec elbow that I can mod first, then you can send me back the old one. That 82mm is costing you at least 50hp on a powerplant that is moving the amount of air that you are.

Here's the one I just made for Ahmad you can show the pics to the local fabricator.

That's the probably safety from the tune IMO because your iats are through the roof on pulls
