You are lucky to be cruising around with 20 degrees over ambient and I bet the water ends up 50 degrees over after a long pull. That is a night and day difference over a chilled setup yet you keep saying its junk lol. Iats with a chiller can be 50 degrees BELLOW ambient when cruising. There is no comparison here. Only way you will get any heat exchanger to cool this well is if you put ice in it constantly.

Would methonal help sure it would. The best combo for ultimate cooling would be chiller and methonal. Even then unless you are doing a lot of huge pulls back to back the meth isn't needed. Regular daily driving chiller works fantastically well. Plus you don't have to buy or fill anything once installed it just works.

As far as ac goes. Works as crappy as it did before the chiller as far as I could tell. Cools my car fine on a 105 degree day.
I DIDNT SAY KILLER CHILLER IS USELESS~~

Here's the one I just made for Ahmad you can show the pics to the local fabricator.

BUDDY, DO YOU NEED A NEW TUNING FILE FOR THIS 90MM TB, OR JUST RUNNING THE 82MM TUNING? AND HOW IS THE FUEL CONSUMPTION? I AM DOING 18L/100KM(70% HIGHWAY)

THANKS

wonder if a custom elbow plenum like that would work with stock blower, to give it more fill with air.

2004 W211 E55 AMG >>gone but not forgotten > W123 280E > W124 E280 > W126 380SE
Interesting thread, lots of good info discussed with varying perspectives. I already knew a KC was the way to go now it's definitely on my list... my long list... lol
