random misfire code cyl 4 and 7
I got on my car part throttle up a hill through the gears and then it felt funny got a cel, scanned it at home and had random misfire codes for cyl 4 and 7 cleared them drove it and it was fine. Is this a sighn of bad coil packs?

check the connector to the coil. Sometimes they work them selves loose. You could also swap the plugs, wires and coils with another cylinder and see if the cel comes back.

cool thanks, it has 61,000 on them maybe a couple are loose from the header install last year I hardly drove it since. injectors are stock as well. if it happens again I will hook it up to star.

coworker got P0300 and P0301. Car was idling rough and after 60mph, it would fall on its face and get the codes. Decided to put fuel injector cleaner and tank of gas at a different place and no more codes and idling alot smoother than before.
