CASH IN HAND WANT E55 prefer white or modded car

I have spoke to all the guys selling theirs now and haven't come to any agreement yet on those so I will post this here. Neither of them is 'exactly' what I want so I made offers. I want a white car and looking for a 2003-2006 E55 only! I would take other colors but really trying to stay away from black! If the car is white then I don't care if it has mods, other then white I would really prefer mods already. I will travel anywhere between NY and Fla. and maybe up to 1200 miles west or north but I will NOT go all the way to the west coast and shipping from there is $2k anyway so forget that! Depending on miles will depend on price. Feel free to call me if you think you have what I want...six three one...357-2602. Thanks

My zip is 11743 but if you have exactly what you think I am looking for then give me a call...it can't hurt.

I just found my '06 white with pano in DC. They are out there. What's the max miles you'd consider?

Sold - 05' E55
Hey Nomad,

Is the E for you? If so, I'm glad to hear your getting another one. The V is easier/cheaper to make it go fast.
As RBJ said maybe reach out to Moosejaw?

White rules - it's the only reason I bought my E55. I was actually looking for a white C55 or CLK55 when I came across mine and the rest is history. Moosejaws is one of the best you can get if he wants to sell it.

Anybody know if David in Jacksonville (urbanworm) ever sold his white E? I can't imagine it gets much use now that he's got CTSV fever.

Well there are 6 white ones currently on autotrader that seem to fit your bill...priced from 14k-58k. The 58k one is the well know EV12. The guy says it needs a retune...which translates to "I have put thousands into getting to run right and now it's your turn"...lol!

Would like an '05 '06 with decent miles but I would also like a 25 year old blond with big **** who isn't broke and not looking to just take my money! Not that I wouldn't take her but....

Keeping the V, it's running well but looking for a great cruiser and probably bring it down to Fla. this winter and visit the family and friends a few times.

I think he uses it and he would see this and call me if he had any interest.

Didn't see those on Autotrader...I only looked on ebay, CL, cars.com (which I hate) and forums. I will check AT tomorrow morning. Thanks

P.S. ...and yes that EV12 thing is just nothing but a nightmare IMO and then he wants $58k...HELLLLLLO! No interest for 1/2 of that! Almost like saying the oaint is MINT...but could use a repaint!

I am trying hard to find a car...not exactly what I wanted but offered two dif guys $19k cash immediately from their $21k asking prices and neither one went for it! You know how you sit back and think 3-4 days after the offer and decide that they are NOT really what you want anyway? Well, I did that and I am out on both now...I wish them luck with their sales and I will wait for the right piece!

I actually found very close to the right one and actually offered $24k and he declined as well but I will buy that one if he decides to go with it! Silver car loaded with almost every option and mods 2006 with 55k mi. Sopposed to be MINT!

When you say 19k cash.. Wouldn't everything be cash? Are people financing 9-12 year old cars? Or do you mean greenback physical cash as opposed to bank transfers/cashiers checks.

I pay in $100 bills! Most people lean towards that instead of bank checks or wires!

depends on the offer, but I'd think about it. Even has aftermarket warranty for another 15k miles

Pulley, upgraded cooling pump, aFe Filters, one step colder plugs, etc

At the end of the day it's all going to be a number in the bank, I don't see why you'd want to handle 20k cash. Might get caught up driving around town. I've had someone bring a shoe box with 20s,10s,5s needless to say my shop was broken into the same night.

Most people is stupid, I also had an Armenian **** try and bring me 40k in counter-fit currency when purchasing a G-Wagon. Lucky he didn't get shot on sight.

These days cash is worse than a wire or bank check. I would prefer a wire, those are hard to fake and can't be reversed. When you deposit more than 10k, you might get a SAR (suspicious activity report) generated by the bank, even deposits less than that might generate one if they think you're trying to get around the 10k rule. Then on top of that, the IRS was seizing accounts that dealt with a lot of cash, but they claim they're not doing that anymore. Bank checks also get faked so the best way is a wire. I'm not surprised 19k doesn't do anything, cash only works when people are desperate and you don't find too many of them owning 20k cars. I had one buyer who once offered 200k cash on a 320k house. The owner laughed.
