Front hood and fenders aluminum?
So after installing my CLS55 AMG rims I rubbed my front fenders while turning and going over a bump, I guess its sits a little too low. I quickly touched up the inside of my fenders because I was worried about rust starting. This was really eating away at me. So today for some weird reason I decided to put a magnet to my fenders and hood, and Voila it doesn't stick, and it sticks to the doors so I guess I don't have to worry about them rusting. Are they in fact aluminum or some sort of plastic. Anyone know?

Its definitely interesting the difference. During my paint corrections paint will react different and have obvious different heat characteristics pending the panels on the E's. The Aluminum ones you have to use slightly different combinations of compounds and pads to get it right quickly. I was figuring this and also due to the sound of them, but good to know for sure.
