hoosier drag radial and that was before posi doing one legged burnouts. then I added posi and headers and that's when it went downhill traction wise. the 1.64 was barely up on the convertor.

Is there anyone who can prove ,with time slips , that they picked up a better 60ft time ,better qtr mile time,without losing mph in the traps with this converter,I'd be willing to give it a try,however I was told by some other members running 10 s that I should NOT change converter,all guys running tens with 1.5 60 ft on stock converters ,at least the guys I spoke to,my best 60ft was 1.59 most are in the 1.6s, hell I got a 1.61 with my pilot super sports on prepped track, like I said ,I'd try it if somebody could disprove what I was told,I am running an SL55 tho not E .

I did remember reading that thread ,but his car is TT , I think he launches it different then I would ,right now I can dead punch my car ,best I got was a 1.59 maybe if I go extreme light rims and tires with skinnies up front I can do a little better but was looking for a 26 to 2800 stall,I think 3000 will blow the tires,

The stall changes the game stock stall I don't care what power you have or track prep hooking is easier. Like with the lightnings stock stall guys even with way lower hp then our cars can pull 1.8 to 1.7 on street tires, add drag raidials with a stall maybe a high 1.6 add slicks to that stall low 1.6 to 1.5's I was amazed with the stall on the 55 that I could lose traction yet still pick up on a sixty foot and et and mph. I wish they made a 16 inch full slick for our car, but the hoosier qtp is the closest thing.

Nice clean install and you must be giving test rides, as customers are lining up for 3000 stalls over there (like air Jordan`s on sale)

How much did that OEM unit cost? I'm going to put mine on eBay, but I need a ballpark figure for it. I have been unable to find a used one listed.

mine went up 1mph going from hooking and negative 500da stock stall to stall spinning and 800ft da. Lock up clutch is strong as a mother and pulls like a freight train. so 1mph under totally different traction and da conditions is a plus it certainly did not go the other way. Its like with my 3.06 gear my car totally messed up at the track with shifting and everything else under the sun and still picked up 2mph from the gears. mine is making power and when it all comes together I will give you folks something to talk about.

A well built and well set up converter for your power/torque will increase mph, as it is more effecient and you will stay in your peak power band longer and drop less rpm at the shifts. Roll racing power will also improve, increased "grin" factor by staying in the sweet power spot, for when you have to drop down against manual tranny car.

These converters have been out for a while now. Anybody running in the 1.4x's yet with these or all the fastest 60's still with stock converters?

I have always heard and experienced lower ET along with lower trap speeds once a stall is put on. Roll racing is better as well. Never heard of higher trap speeds.
What does the labot book out on doing a stall for our cars ? Also is more cooling needed ? Stall increases operating temps quite a bit.
